We are all a little more uncertain these days of COVID-19 proliferation, but we are resilient and frankly, quite adaptable. An unprecedented number of people continue to social distance and isolate and the upward spike of new cases has flattened as a result. We find new ways to be social and be “together”. We get creative!
TMMRC board members decided we needed to be more communicative with club members and the community alike. We’ve redesigned our website to be a running source of information. Informing the community of events, club news, spotlight articles on members, healthy lifestyle tips, volunteering opportunities and, of course, running opportunities.
During these uncertain times while our events and social gatherings are cancelled for an undetermined number of days, weeks, months, we are challenging Milers to get out for solo-ventures and socially safe-distanced outings and keeping morale high via Facebook, Instagram, and our Strava Club.
We all know that running reduces stress and keeps us in shape, so get out there and enjoy the simplicity of putting tread to trail or road and cover some miles on your feet. Afterwards, if you feel like sharing, we are ready to cheer you on!
