If you missed the registration cut-off (based upon our runner limit) for the 2008 Tahoe Rim Trail Endurance Runs please email David Cotter, Race director to be placed on the waiting list. We were able to get many off the waiting list last year to the start line and are hopeful to do so again this year. Let us know which distance in which you are interested. We'll manage the list on a "first come, first serve".

NO HEADPHONES POLICY  As race directors struggle with the RRCA guideline against the use of headphones in RRCA insured events along with the USATF ban on headphones at sanctioned events, the RRCA is encouraging race directors to adopt the new universal NO HEADPHONES symbol and policy for all RRCA events. It is our decision to comply with both the RRCA guideline and USATF ban. Therefore, and in an effort to promote the highest level of safety at our event, we have adopted the "NO HEADPHONES" policy. "A GLIMPSE OF HEAVEN AND A TASTE OF HELL" DVD  On July 21, 2007, 400 men and women from around the world participated in an ultra distance endurance run on the world famous Tahoe Rim Trail. Some opted for the 50K or 50 mile distance, while others elected to run in the exhausting 100-Mile National Championship Event.
This dramatic 56 minute television special chronicles both the story of ultra running and the colorful history of this event, told by the participants and volunteers of the race.
