Recipes On The Run

If you're like most other runners, one of the primary motivations that enables you to set out on your daily run is "FOOD". Said another way, "WE RUN TO EAT!" But, we also found that we have to modify our diets from the "old traditional standards". Although we know that it's mentally beneficial to allow ourselves the occasional treat, for the most part we've learned to modify our daily recipes. We have also modified our tastes. Remember as a kid when you said, "I'll quite drinking milk before I drink a glass of Non-Fat milk!" I'd be willing to wager a small bet that if I looked in your refrigerator at this very moment, I'd find a gallon jug of exactly that . . . Non-Fat milk.

Today, our focus is upon "Non-Fat", "Low-Fat" and "Reduced Fat" meals. The Tahoe Mountain Milers want to share some of our favorite recipes that fit into these categories. We'd also like to encourage our friends visiting our web site to share your favorite recipes. Please email us so we can share the tastse treats that fuel you through the miles. Send your recipes to the Tahoe Mountain Milers so we can add them to this list for others to enjoy.

Here are just a few of our favorites:
