DESCRIPTIONSandy or rocky single track up and down steep hills make this a challenging run but it remains one of our most popular outings. The views alone make it worthwhile. Various trails loop out from the Green Water Tower through the sagebrush, up ravines, and around hillocks, offering distances of 2-8 miles. DIRECTIONSIn Carson City, take Koontz lane all the way to the end, crossing over Edmonds and parking at the base of the big water tower. We usually carpool from Round Hill Safeway.
