DESCRIPTION

An 11-mile loop down Carson River Road then circling back up Diamond Valley Road to Highway 89 just before the junction with 88/89. A pleasant out-and-back can be run down Carson River Road.

Dogs are not recommended.

Limited bathroom facilities of the sagebrush variety.

This is an all-road run

(From South Lake Tahoe) Take SR 89 out of Myers to the Pickett's Junction with US HWY 88. Turn left onto US HWY 88 and drive almost 6 miles down the canyon. Woodford's Station is on your left, IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TURN TO MARKLEEVILLE. We park here for the run.

We usually carpool from Lira's Market.

(From Carson/Minden/Gardnerville) Take US HWY 88 south out of Minden to Woodford's Station, on your right approximately 13.5 miles after the junction of US HWY 395 and US HWY 88.
