| A well-deserved rest at South Camp Peak |
DESCRIPTION
A club favorite, this run is an out-and-back along the Tahoe Rim Trail
to South Camp Peak. We run to within 4 miles or so from the Spooner trailhead before
turning back. The views from the bench on South Camp Peak are truly awe-inspiring.
Don't forget your camera and bring plenty of water and snacks.

Dogs OK but this trail has some sharp, rocky stretches that can tear up the
paws.

DIRECTIONS
From Stateline, take Kingsbury Grade almost to the summit, turning
Left onto N. Benjamin Drive towards Brautovitch Park. N. Benjamin is winding and
long, changing names to Andria Drive a little way up. Drive all the way to the
end of the road where the fire road starts.
You'll see a parking area and Tahoe Rim Trail trailhead
on your right.
